In partnership with the Red Cross and Mercy College, all 3rd-5th grade Lovejoy students participated in the Pillowcase Project. Students were able to learn about disaster preparedness, including what to do in a fire or tornado situation. Coping skills were also introduced and practiced. At the end of the presentation students were able to decorate their own pillowcase.
